I am a Registered Dietitian and graduated in 2005 from Central Michigan University with a Master’s Degree of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. I received my credentials as a Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition in 2008 and have continued to practice in oncology since that time. In 2016, I obtained a new position at the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven Health (YNHH) and relocated to Connecticut. I worked there for 2 ½ years evolving my knowledge and exposure to a diverse diagnosis and patient population. When my previous position became available again at Mercy Health—Lacks Cancer Center I was able to return home and offer an expanded practice and fresh perspective to the colleagues and patients I loved so much. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and spending time with my fiancée, Beth. I love to read, work in our yard and am adjusting to life with my first (and likely last) cat, Pete. I work regularly with our patients at the Collective with questions around Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Menopause and Perimenopause, Fertility, Fatigue, Mood Changes and Food Sensitivities. I am excited to contribute unique insights and integrate the importance of nutrition to the comprehensive team at the Women's+ Health Collective.
