Telemedicine

Please click the link below to be directed to your provider’s telemedicine page:

Telemedicine is the practice of medicine using technology to deliver clinical services from a provider to a patient. The Covid-19 crisis has expanded availability for the use of telemedicine to allow for increased patient access to their medical providers. While there are medical concerns and disorders that need to be evaluated in the office, there are many issues that can be handled via telemedicine.

At the Women’s Health Collective, we use a cloud based, HIPAA compliant telemedicine solution called Doxy.me. Patients can click the links from either a smart phone or a computer with a camera and a microphone.

It is important to note that telemedicine may not be able to offer the same type of service that might be received at an in-person visit. However, with the widespread use and coverage of telemedicine now, we are able to offer a clinical encounter that would not otherwise be an option during this current crisis.

Some of the issues that can be discussed via a telemedicine visit:

  • Dietitian Consults

  • Menopause/hormone imbalance

  • Sexuality counseling/couples counseling

  • Birth control counseling

  • Irregular bleeding

  • Low libido

  • Pelvic pain

  • PCOS

  • Pain with Sex

  • Endometriosis

  • Pre-Conception Counseling (Family Planning)

  • UTI/Bladder Infections
